Life in Hawaii through the perspective of the plate lunch. The Plate Lunch as served by Honolulu Mark is a mixed plate metaphor for the way people, their stories and their food, come together on one plate to make Hawaii paradise. Honolulu Mark has returned home to his Hawaii roots but eats, shoots and leaves extend to my second home, Seattle.

Ono to Go & Yajima-ya
Food trucks Ono to Go and Yajima-ya have paired to serve up one-two punches of local Asian favorites. I enjoyed the kiawe grilled misoyaki butterfish while others enjoyed donburi with ginger pork. Yajima-ya also serves iced coffee and desert waffles in addition to its' authentic Japanese noodle dishes. You can find them on Sheridan Street just off King St. at 920 Sheridan St.
