Life in Hawaii through the perspective of the plate lunch. The Plate Lunch as served by Honolulu Mark is a mixed plate metaphor for the way people, their stories and their food, come together on one plate to make Hawaii paradise. Honolulu Mark has returned home to his Hawaii roots but eats, shoots and leaves extend to my second home, Seattle.

Greens for Earth Day
A salad I made from fresh Oahu edamame, Japanese cucumber and kale inspired by observing Earth Day. I bought the edamame and kale from the Kailua Farmers Market. I don't remember who was selling the edamame in the shell but the kale I got from Otsuji Farms. The Japanese cucumbers I got from Ho Farms at the new Whole Foods that just opened in Kailua.
