Breaking bacon news...

The bartender extraordinaire Jamie Boudreau has turned up at the Queen Anne cocktail club Tini Bigs. Posted on his blog Spirits and Cocktails, an encyclopedic collection of recipes and wit from behind the bar, is the magic word: BACON!

Boudreau announced that one of his drinks revamping the concoctions at Tini Bigs is the Chocolat Cochon consisting of "bacon-infused bourbon, cherry, chocolate, amaro and bitters." I'm not a cocktail drinker but, since there is bacon, I just might be tempted to try this one.
