Life in Hawaii through the perspective of the plate lunch. The Plate Lunch as served by Honolulu Mark is a mixed plate metaphor for the way people, their stories and their food, come together on one plate to make Hawaii paradise. Honolulu Mark has returned home to his Hawaii roots but eats, shoots and leaves extend to my second home, Seattle.

These Fingers Were Made for Walking
Check out the "Walking Fingers" by local artist Ellen Forney and see more of her proposal to Sound Transit to add some sass and color to the future Capitol Hill station for the underground light rail that will travel from downtown to the UW and points north.
When completed, "Walking Fingers" will be 28' wide by 20' high. The station is scheduled to open in 2016.
