Life in Hawaii through the perspective of the plate lunch. Honolulu Mark has returned home to his Hawaii roots but eats, shoots and leaves extend to my second home, Seattle.

Sun Sets on Ballard Bowling
And another one bites the dust... another local landmark that is. Sunset Bowl has been a cultural institution in Ballard for generations but could not survive the onslaught of progress. So, it closed to make way for something brand new and nameless and everything was auctioned off, including pins, pans, pots and shoes.
