QOTD on Life Work

Today's Quote of the Day comes Lisa Belkin's Dilbert the Inquisitor piece in today's NYT.

I am an introvert who acts like an extrovert, nearly everyone told me, the sort of person who can hold her own at a party but quietly escapes to the restroom periodically just for the silence.

I had thought that was my little secret.

I would probably not make the best manager. “You really don’t want to manage people, you want to manage information and ideas,” Ms. Fink said diplomatically.

Sister, I can totally relate. Convivial introverts unite! And then, let's have some quiet time to recharge our personal energies.
